SW900 Display Error Code Troubleshooting

Hello , this is Crazy Lao K , in this article ,that's all error codes about the SW900 ebike display , let's get start .

What ?!?! Don't know where is the error code ? Wait , let me take a photo ...... Here ,did you see ? marked in red .

Error code 02 : Brake error

This mostly caused by brake handle bar , follow tips below:

1,Try to release the brake handle bar , check whether the brake handle bar returns to it's original position. You can see this picture , there is a gap between handle bar , so the sensor would misjudged ,return an ‘Error 02’ or cut the power because it thinks you are braking .

2,Disconnect the brake , if the ‘Error 02’ disappear , you should try to change a new brake .

3,After change a new brake ,the ‘Error 02’ appears again , it might be some problems in the 1 To 4 cable ; check all connections and contacts inside the plug .

Error 06 : Low Battery Voltage

1,Charge your battery if it's dead.I am very impressed when a customer came to me and said : ’ Hey ! what F**K rubbish you are selling to me ?’ After checking , i just say ‘Oh come on bro , your battery is dead , you have to charge it , didn't your car show you a information when it's out of gas ? ’

2,Change a battery charger . In rare cases , the charger might be damaged , so you can try another charger which in good use , but pay attention , the charger should matched with your battery .

3,Check the display configuration P03 value , it should matched with your battery’s voltage , the value might be 24 / 36 / 48 / 60 / 72 .

4,If your battery have been used for a long time or the battery cells are in low quality , you should try to change a new battery , if the ‘Error 06’ disappear , that might some failures with battery cells or BMS or other .

Error 07 : Motor Failure

1,Check the cable connection , especially the connection between controller and motor .

2,Change a brand new motor . You can connect the new motor directly on the controller to see if the ‘Error 07’ appears ,but be careful do not touch the throttle or the PAS ! If the code disappear , we can change the hub motor . if you teared all hub motor parts down , and after test , you found that is the controller failure , oh , hahaha......

3,Change a brand new controller . After change a new motor , the ‘Error 07’ still there , you should change a new controller . In very rare cases , the controller failure might cause the ‘Error 07’.

Error 08 : Handle Failure

It's an Error code of you throttle failure , easy to take care .

1,Check the twist throttle or thumb throttle connection cable .

2,Disconnect the throttle , if the ‘Error 08’ disappear , try to change a new throttle ; After change a new throttle , the error code still there , you may need to check or change the 1 to 4 cable.

Error 09 : ECU Failure

Electronic Control Unit , known as the controller ; If ‘Error 09’ appears , follow the tips :

1,Check the 1 to 4 cable , if the contacts inside the plug didn't contact each other , that might cause the error code .

2,After check the cable , you can try to change a new controller .

Error 10/11 : Communication Error

It’s a normal error code , mostly caused by wrong connection.

1,Check all connection cable .

2,Check the contacts inside the plug . Sometimes the contacts inside would be wrong position .

Error 12 : BMS Communication Error

1,Check or change the 1 to 4 cable . Especially the connection between battery and controller .

2,Try another new battery , if the ‘Error 12’ disappear , that means there are something wrong with your battery's BMS board .
